HONOLULU-BASED BOOKMOBILE ASSISTANT/DRIVER

We are seeking a caring and reliable person who is interested in working with the Bookmobile Program. Current service routes include sites in Kapolei, Ewa Beach, Waipahu, Mililani, and Honolulu, but will vary as sites shift.

The key responsibility for this role will be to engage with and support keiki and family visitors to promote and facilitate their full use of Bookmobile services.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNER (ELL) INSTRUCTOR – WAIPAHU

ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNER (ELL) INSTRUCTOR - REMOTE

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable person who loves to teach English in fun, relevant, and interactive ways, to work with immigrant adults to increase their practical, conversational English skills, job readiness, parenting support, and information access. The English Language Learner (ELL) Instructor, both in-person and remote, will be responsible for teaching classes in-person and remotely. The in-person classes will be conducted at different times dependent on the needs of the learners. The in-person class is a partnership with Waipahu Safe Haven and Department of Education, so the students should primarily live in Waipahu. The class is located at West O’ahu Christian Church. The instructor may also train and support volunteers to offer additional individual help for learners.
