As part of the grand opening of 3 new O’ahu stores, T.J. Maxx donated $5,000 to Hawaii Literacy’s Family Literacy program. We are honored to be selected as a community partner for the Pearl City gateway location and look forward to working with the team of associates at T.J. Maxx to promote greater literacy and a love of reading for parents and children in Hawai’i.

Thanks to many generous gifts from businesses,foundations,and individuals, Hawaii Literacy has met our grant challenge from the GIFT Foundation of Hawai’i to raise $32,000 to build three terrific new programs– Literacy & Technology, Youth Tutoring, and Parents Achieving Literacy– and help hundreds of `ohana most in need.
