Mahalo to T.J. Maxx!

As part of the grand opening of 3 new O’ahu stores, T.J. Maxx donated $5,000 to Hawaii Literacy’s Family Literacy program. We are honored to be selected as a community partner for the Pearl City gateway location and look forward to working with the team of associates at T.J. Maxx to promote greater literacy and a love of reading for parents and children in Hawai’i.

E komo mai. We welcome T.J. Maxx back to the islands and thank them for their wonderful and ongoing support and dedication to helping increase literacy and opportunity for all in Hawai’i.

Volunteer Recognition Event: April 22, 2012

Our 4th annual Volunteer Recognition Dinner was a wonderful evening of sharing, fun, and of course gratitude for the dozens of volunteers who help adults and keiki in our programs learn to read and write. Last year, over 300 volunteers shred over 7,900 of volunteer service, helping to change lives for the better.
